The Editions
There are 14 situational
editions:
1. "Go Anywhere" Edition is our
general phrasebook which contains 12
essential icons that can be used in
all situations and covers the most
general and basic communication
needs of a traveler. In addition to
the question mark symbol, the 12
symbols it contains are:
Phone, Restrooms, Taxi, Police,
directions, knife and fork for
restaurant, Fuel, Bed, train,
plane/airport, pharmacy, change.
2. "Outdoors" Edition contains the
following 20 vital icons:
shower, temperature, fire, trash,
directions, tent/camping grounds,
fishing, rock slide, first aid,
water, poison, restrooms, picnic
bench, recycling, food icon group
(milk and apple), compass, hiking,
swimming, horseback riding, cycling.
3. "Road Trip" Edition contains the
following 17 crucial icons to keep
the user driving safely:
coffee, water faucet, tow truck,
bed/hotel, directions, restaurant
icon group (knife and fork), fuel,
car rental, flat tire, first aid,
mechanic/tools, phone, restrooms,
parking, accident,
temperature/thermometer, car. In
addition, a question mark,
exclamation point and a warning sign
are included to help convey related
messages.
4. "Eating out/Restaurant" Edition
includes the following 24 important
icons to help the user order
correctly and get proper nutrition:
fish, chicken, steak, pork shank,
seafood icon group (including
lobster and crab), fruit icon group,
vegetable icon group, sausage, egg,
cheese, peanut, corn, plate, cutlery
icon group (knife and fork), wine
glass, beer mug, coffee cup, glass
of water, milk bottle, restrooms,
salt and pepper shakers, bread icon
group (baguette and sliced bread),
ice-cream cone, soup bowl.
5. "Health & Medical" Edition
includes the following 33
potentially life saving icons:
stethoscope, brain, shower, gloves,
water faucet, breathing passages,
bed, hospital, drop (can be used for
blood or water), tooth, wheel chair,
thermometer/temperature,
poison/skull & bones, nurse,
potion/medication, emergency kit,
lungs, medical equipment,
microscope, fire, ambulance,
pills/medication, pharmacy,
stomach/digestive system, scissors,
stretcher, test tubes, chemistry
flask, kidneys, syringe, phone,

6. "Ski/Winter Sports" Edition,
includes the following 23 chill
icons to help the person on the
slopes:

7. "Business" Edition includes the

8. "Bachelor" Edition includes the

9. "Her Vacation" Edition includes
